Opportunity to Enlist in the Interpreters Registry

In order to ensure easy access to justice, the courts have been facilitating the service of interpreters for persons who do not know the language of conduct at the courts, the hearing impaired plaintiffs, witnesses and experts.

For the smooth and easy running of the courts in relation to cases where an interpreter is needed, a registry has been established at the Department of Judicial Administration in which interpreters may enlist themselves. The registry include;

Annex 1: List of language interpreters

Annex 2: List of interpreters for the hearing impaired.

Persons who wish to offer their services may register themselves in the Interpreters Registry from 10 April 2017.
