Judges Arrive at the Southern Branch of the High Court to Commence Service

The three Judges assigned to the Southern Branch of the High Court have left to take up their posts and begin service. The three Judges assigned to the Southern Branch of the High Court include, Justice Uz. Abdul Ghanee Mohamed, Justice Uz. Dr Azmiraldha Zahir and Justice Uz. Shuaib Hussain Zakariyya.

Location of the Southern Branch of the High Court

The Southern Branch of the High Court in Located in Hulhumeedhoo of Addu City at the first floor of STO office Building. The administrative functions of the Southern Branch have already been established. The Southern branch premise comprise of a court room, 3 rooms assigned for the Judges, a room for the Registrar and court administrator each.

Staff of the Southern Branch of the High Court

Staff for all positions of the Southern Branch of the high Court have been assigned with the exception of the position of Registrar, Court Master and one Administrative Officer. The deadline given for the Job advertisement for the position of Registrar and Court Master is Thursday 26 November 2015. The deadline given for the Job advertisement for the position of Administrative Officer is Sunday 6 December 2015.

Accommodation for Judges at the Southern Branch

The Department of Judicial Administration has assigned 3 houses from Addu City for the accommodation of the Judges.
