DJA Team in Lhaviyani Naifaru for Final Inspection of New Magistrate Court Building
A team from the Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) is currently in Lhaviyani Naifaru for the final inspection of the newly built island Magistrate Court, before operations are shifted to this building.
The team include the assigned Project Officer for the new Magistrate Court building, Administrative Officer Abdul Waheed Ibrahim, Senior Network Engineer of the Department Hussain Waheed and Senior Computer Programmer Ali Adam.
The main task of the Project Officer is to inspect the new building and identify what is needed for the new Magistrate Court building of Lhaviyani Naifaru before operations begin there. Senior Network Engineer of the Department Hussain Waheed and Senior Computer Programmer Ali Adam who are in the inspection team will carry out the work of checking the network and PABX of the new building.
The new Magistrate Court of Lhaviyani Naifaru is a two story building. The new building is planned with 2 Court rooms, 2 rooms for the Magistrates, a room for the Court Administrator, staff area, a conference hall and a waiting area for lawyers. In addition, a prison cell area is available to keep suspects in remand who are brought to Court and also a waiting area is available for the police officers who escort the suspects to Court.
The operations of the Magistrate Court of Lhaviyani Naifaru will begin shortly in the new building.
